Tachibana design kimono for seven year girls.
Ukon-no Tachibana(tree of mandarin orange) 右近の橘
Contrast with the famous cherry tree ”sakon- no sakura” planting opposite.(
左近の桜)
Tachibana・・Leaves grow up regardless of the season,
and from that appearances it is regarded as a symbol of life force
and longevity.
Sakura・・It’s a symbol of warrior from the state that flower are scattered and scatterd.
It seems that the design for the medal (of Order of Cultural) has changed from Sakura blossoms to Tachibana by the intention of emperor from the appearances that Tachibana always looks unchanged.
I wish that “LILLI” would last forever and designed boldly the pattern of Tachibana.
