本能寺の変で信長公がお亡くなりになった場所です。
現在の本能寺とはだいぶ離れた場所になります。
This is the place where Nobunaga-Oda was killed by Mitsuhide-Akechi in Honno-ji incident.
It is far away from the current Honno-ji temple.
一説によると地下道を通って南蛮寺に逃げたとか・・・
