七五三とは、子供の成長を願ってお祝いする日本の行事です。
男の子は3歳と5歳、女の子は3歳と7歳にそれぞれ意味を持ったお祝いをするのです。
Shichi-go-san, which means seven, five and three, is a Japanese annual event to celebrate healthy growth and wish longevity for three and seven-year-old daughters, and three and five-year-old sons.
3歳・・・男女ともに髪を伸ばし始める “髪置き(かみおき)”
3 y/o Both men and women begin to grow their hair “Kamioki”
5歳・・・男の衣服である袴を着る “袴着(はかまぎ)”
5 y/o Wear a hakama is a man of clothes “Hakamagi ”
7歳・・・女の子の着物帯の装い始め “帯解(おびとき)”
7 y/o A girl ties an obi to a kimono “Obitoki”
３歳で言葉を理解しはじめ、５歳で知恵づき、7歳で乳歯が生え代わる。

発育してゆく上でも病気になりやすく、命の危険を伴う時期を
健やかな成長を願い、氏神様にお祈りする行事ですが
